Devil’s Kitchen

(Please use care, caution and courtesy on Ln 33,

Bentonite Haul Road (Large trucks).

From Greybull: (From Greybull Heights: 7.1 miles)
 
Head east on Highway 14 across the bridge and up the hill.
Turn (left) off Highway 14 onto Division Street on heights east of Greybull. 
Turn left onto Sandy Row (street). Follow Sandy Row to Rimrock Road, 
turn and follow to Lane 33 (the Bentonite Haul Road) (unmarked).
Big signs say stop, etc. These signs are for going left at this point which is private land.
Turn right onto Lane 33 and carefully go 4.4 miles. Turn right onto unmarked road 
(Currently there is nothing marking this turn) and proceed 2/10 mile to the
Devil’s Kitchen overlook. 
 
From Shell: Proceed on Highway 14 west towards Greybull. Turn right onto Davis Lane (Road): 
8-1/10 miles to Devil’s Kitchen from turn. Proceed north 1-1/10 mile along Davis Lane
to river and then haul road (Lane 33). Turn left onto haul road. All along the haul road, 
the hills are volcanic in nature, including bentonite (volcanic dust),our foremost area export.
It is 3-7/10 mile from turn onto Lane 33 to the unmarked turnoff to Devil’s Kitchen Overlook. 
Turn left and proceed 2/10 mile to overlook. See why it’s called the Devil’s Kitchen.
